STAGE one of The Sands masterplanned community in Tannum Sands has been released, with developer Lyons Residential believing it will set a new standard of community living in the region.

The Sands sales manager Geoff Coleman said Lyons Residential had taken on board feedback fromthe local market and had subsequently designed a premium development including large lots and a number of outstanding community and future commercial amenities.

“The Sands has been specifically built for the local market,” he said.

“Local residents have told us that they want larger lots and wider roads, and the opportunity to enjoy a real community setting, rather than one which is surrounded by homes owned by out of town investors.

“We’ve created a development with a true sense of place; a community in which locals can build their dream homes in a sophisticated, safe neighbourhood.

“Residents will have easy access to the town centre, with proposed amenities including a retail centre and supermarket, retirement village, community centre, Olympic-sized swimming pool, beach access, walking and bike trail, medical centre and a private primary and secondary school.”

MrColeman said the release included 42 lots, priced from $235,000 and ranging from 727sq m to 1669sq m, with the average being 924sq m. A number offered stunning ocean views and all had sea breezes. “These are some of the largest blocks for sale in the region, and well above the Australian average,” Mr Coleman said. “Buyers will have plenty of room to build spacious
homes with roomfor sheds, pools and storage areas for boats or trailers.

“The Sands will have state-of-the-art parks and playground facilities, which will be surrounded by natural
conservation areas.

“A number of local builders have already registered their interest in the release and they are really excited to have large
family sized homes in an idyllic location.”
